MARBLE RENEWS COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT REENGINEERING WITH NEXT'S
OBJECT TECHNOLOGY
Waltham, MA - June 16, 1994 - Marble Associates, Inc. today
formalized a long relationship with NeXT Computer, Inc. by joining
NeXT's Object Channel, a program designed for consultants who want
to offer their customers and clients advanced enterprise-wide,
client/server systems based on NeXT's object-oriented technology.
Marble Associates is a consulting firm that applies the discipline
of information science to the implementation of flexible,
extensible, business systems. Marble brings rapid-cycle
development technologies and techniques to support organizations
seeking competitive advantage through technology, often in the
form of IS transformation or business reengineering.
Working closely with management consulting firms leading the
reengineering efforts within the world's largest corporations,
Marble has succesfully used NEXTSTEP, NeXT's object-oriented
software, in a number of critical transformation efforts.
"NEXTSTEP is the preferred development environment for many of our
clients," said John Goode, Vice President for Client Relations at
Marble Associates. "It offers the flexibility needed for rapid
prototyping and deployment of applications developed jointly in
reengineering labs by business users and technologists. We've used
NEXTSTEP at a major public utility in Michigan, a governmental
loan-processing organization in Massachusetts, and at an
international financial trading house, among other clients. We've
used NEXTSTEP since its introduction in 1989; it's been a secret
weapon for rapid development and reengineering."
